Description of Job 

Using data to enhance agricultural methods and empower Tanzanian farmers would help the data analyst (officer) greatly assist the vision and purpose of the organisation. Using data analysis techniques, the role holder will be able to derive insights from many sources, therefore turning unprocessed data into useful information guiding the initiatives and decision-making.

ABOUT US
Design, create, and provide high-quality visualisation, data models,, and information products to assist the Trust’s project activities to discover trends, quantify program impact, and evaluate project effectiveness.
Work with management to pinpoint data requirements, create design and implementation plans for several surveys or case studies, and create data-collecting techniques to produce publishable reports or papers.
From field reports, surveys, and other sources, clean, arrange, and examine agricultural data.
Create succinct, straightforward presentations and reports that explain difficult data results to stakeholders from diverse technical backgrounds.
Help management create grant bids using data-driven reasoning for program activity.
Organise the execution of surveillance operations, particularly inside the Zones of the firm.
Keep current on pertinent agricultural data-collecting techniques and analytical instruments.
Working with management, find, organise, and lead in the creation and analysis of economic data to guide policy changes.
Organise the company’s reports for management and the board to make suitable decisions.
Knowledge and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, agriculture, socioeconomics, or a similar discipline from a reputable university.
An extra benefit will be a master’s degree.
Mastery in SQL, Python, or R; dashboards; statistical programs (e.g., R, Tableau); combined with data visualisation tools like Tableau or Power BI.
analytical approach with the capacity to compile and evaluate market data, spot patterns, and guide data-driven judgements.
One must possess strong mathematical ability to gather, measure, arrange, and evaluate quantitative information.
Great communication, presentation, and people abilities.

Skills in demonstrable data analysis, including mastery of statistics and statistical tools including STATA, SPSS, SAS, etc., are needed.

Career Description

Promoting the vision, goal, programs, and impact of the Trust helps the brand and communication officer to shape its public image and voice. The post holder will be in charge of creating and carrying out strategic communication plans that successfully interact with target audiences, increase awareness, and get company objectives supported.

Duties

Plan and oversee the yearly communication strategy of the organisation.
Oversaw the design of promotional materials, including publications, brochures, banners, PowerPoint presentations, and other communication-related items that would help to raise the brand and visibility of the company.
To guarantee consistency with the corporate brand, work with the Finance and Administration Department to arrange and supervise the production of publications, promotional materials, and banners.
Under coordination with the Finance and Administration Department and Business Development Department, distribute periodicals, promotional materials, and banners to the zonal offices.
Create media plans to coordinate public outreach and media, ensuring that the messaging is aligned with the brand and basic values of the business.
Work collaboratively with several media outlets to design and distribute the audiovisual material, community events, spot messaging, and major events.
Organise important events and communication chances for several teams in the company, including conferences, press conferences, seminars, field trips, talks, and report releases, so preserving and improving brand integrity.
Work closely with the managers to create field event narratives, images, and success stories relating to each project for both local and worldwide audiences, therefore highlighting the company’s activity in Tanzania and its impact.
Create and supervise the use of a clear, robust Inclusive Green Growth (IGG) marketing and branding plan and distribute the Green Growth credentials.
Create monthly media monitoring reports.
Support and oversee content creation on social media platforms like Instagram, X (previously known as Twitter), LinkedIn, and other relevant channels.
As needed, review and update material on the website.
Establish and preserve the Trust’s photo and video archive; also, provide excellent images for print, multimedia, and online reproduction.

Knowledge and experience

Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Business Administration, Marketing, Information and Communication Technology, or an allied field from a reputable university Bachelor’s degree.
Five (5) years of demonstrated communications and branding experience.
Practical graphic design and photography experience.
Knowledge about PHP Website Development
Strong communication abilities, fluency in English and Kiswahili, and the capacity to interact successfully in a multicultural setting with national and international colleagues and partners.
Capacity for adaptability and effectiveness under pressure, handling conflicting goals.
Excellent understanding and ability using creative graphic design and video production tools, including but not limited to Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro.
a practical awareness of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and PHP.
One more advantage will be a working knowledge of social media technology and email marketing, e.g., Buffer and Mailchimp tools.
rudimentary knowledge of DSLR camera operation.
Microsoft Office Suite competency.
