We are looking for a very qualified and experienced principal internal auditor to join our internal audit team as part of our dedication to guaranteeing the best levels of governance, responsibility, and internal controls.

Leading the internal audit activity, the Principal Internal Auditor will make DART’s operations, financial activities, and internal controls complement the goals, policies, and legal requirements of the company. This is a senior position requiring both strategic direction and practical participation in audit preparation, execution, and reporting.

Important Assignments:

Oversaw and mentored the internal audit team, giving junior auditors development chances and direction.
Plan, execute, and supervise audits of compliance, operational, and financial spheres of influence inside the company.
Create frameworks and audit plans to evaluate operational effectiveness, internal control, and risk.
Examine and assess internal controls and practices to find areas needing work and to suggest corrective action.
Create and show thorough audit reports to top management stressing results, hazards, and areas needing work.

Skills and Background:

a bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, accounting, finance, business administration, or another. A master’s degree has benefits.
One must be certified professionally either as a CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), ACCA, or CPA.
a minimum of seven years of pertinent internal auditing work experience, three of which have been in a managerial or leadership capacity.
thorough awareness of internal control systems, risk management, and auditing criteria.
Excellent analytical abilities capable of assessing complicated systems and procedures.
Highly desired is experience in public sector or transportation infrastructure organisations.
Superior written and vocal communication abilities that allow one to clearly and practically explain difficult results.

Competency with audit management tools and Microsoft Office.
