Comprising Johns Hopkins University, Jhpiego is a nonprofit dedicated to world health.[Originally known as the Johns Hopkins Program for International Education in Gynaecology and Obstetrics, the program was established in 1973 and is today just Jhpiego.

Overview of an Internship
Jhpiego Internship Program (JIP) seeks to equip young professionals with experiences and guide them into professional positions. The responsibilities included in this internship are not crucial and do not call for a full-time staff to complete; hence, a young professional will have an experience to get good on the job.
The intern immunisation will equip the applicant in the search with more experience in immunisation tasks by means of hands-on experience and learning and gain of work experience. With its cross-monitoring systems comprising vaccine-preventable disease surveillance, the intern will acquire experience in immunisation systems strengthening for enhanced quality, access, and utilisation.
Reports to: Senior Advisor on Immunisation
Mentor: Senior Advisor on Vaccine Policy
Location: Zanzibar and Mwanza
Two required positions: Zanzibar (one) and Mwanza (one).

Important obligations and duties
Help the immunisation advisor create district and regional performance progress reports.
Working with regional TOs, they will tour areas and districts to monitor development and offer assistance to hasten plans of improvement.
Work with the regional TOs to ready and show weekly activity implementation progress.
Help the regional TOs create monthly performance reports to guide program implementation in their particular areas.
Help project cluster leads, regional technical officers, and R/CHMTs to facilitate immunisation reviews.
Help to record immunisation successes so that design and immunisation programs may be informed.
Track performance and assist in activity implementation to guide pause and reflection meetings with regional TOs and R/CHMTs.
Create activity reports for every job you are assigned.
Support additional program responsibilities assigned, including field-level program management logistics.
Requirements and Qualifications
just graduated from an environmental health sciences or allied area bachelor’s degree program.Purchase vitamins and capsules.
Knowledge in immunisation and vaccine development (IVD) programs at subnational and national levels
finished an academic internship working on immunisation projects.
