Objective of the job and main duties

Aim of employment

Assisting the Human Resource Manager in handling and organising human resources programs, policies, and activities in the company, which include recruitment and retention, talent management, performance management, employee relations, payroll, learning and development, and staff records, will be the responsibility of the role holder. The post will answer to the Human Resource Manager.

Important roles

Lead projects meant to improve friendly working relationships by means of staff conferences, social gatherings, etc.
Verify constant updating of employee records.
Apply items in the annual action plan in compliance with corporate human resource policies and procedures.
Share with the HR manager your ideas on departmental staffing needs.
Help the company’s performance management.
Work with the HR manager to make sure every staff member in the organisation has updated their job descriptions in compliance with HR standards.
Combine data on training needs derived from individual appraisals and information on the evaluation of training to guide employee development; also, monitor learning and development initiatives.
Under coordination with the HR Manager, plan staff training and development schedule execution.
Support firm recruitment and onboarding activities, including, among other things, circulating approvals, advertising, initial shortlisting and interviewing, file management, and induction.
Guarantee timeliness and 100% accuracy in data collection into every HR system and file.
Providing guidance and recommendations on how staff members should apply HR policies and procedures.
Help the HR Manager to propel the agenda for cultural change inside the company.
Initiate and update monthly company payroll systems in coordination with the HR Manager and group payroll office to guarantee statutory payroll reporting to the pertinent entities.
Do any other tasks as asked from time to time.
Deliver on performance criteria based on the strategy map of the departments, balanced scorecard, and personal scorecard.

Bachelor’s degree in an allied field of relevance
Human Resource Management: Diploma
Two to four years in generalist human resources management: Essential Competencies
