Title: Medical Physicist II (two postings) JOB

Ensuring that medical equipment—especially those used in radiation treatment and diagnostic imaging—is operating safely and effectively will fall to the Medical Physicist II.Working closely with doctors, nurses, and technologists to guarantee the safety of radiation treatments, completing quality control activities on equipment, and so reducing radiation exposure to staff members and patients is part of the responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

Guarantee correct operation and safety of equipment connected to radiation.

Apply radiation-based technological diagnostic tests and treatments.

Helper with radiation therapy dosimetry and treatment planning.

Staff should be taught safe radiation equipment use.

Keep records and check radiation safety criteria.

Qualifications:

either a degree in medical physics or a closely allied discipline.
