Amana Bank is a commercial bank situated in Tanzania. It is licensed by the national banking authority, the central bank, Bank of Tanzania.
Overview
The bank is an entirely licenced Islamic banking company. Serving through seven branches—five in Dar es Salaam, one in Mwanza, and one in Arusha—the bank had approximately 34,000 clients as of July 2016. With shareholders’ equity of TSh 23.7 billion (US$10.43 million), the bank’s overall assets as of December 31, 2017, were TSh 204 billion (US$89.7 million). Operating on Sharia Compliance (Islamic Finance Jurisprudence), Amana Bank is the first completely fledged Islamic bank licensed and registered commercial bank in Tanzania.
Although Amana Bank began its operations in November 2011, its beginnings may be found in October 2009 when a group of well-known Tanzanian businessmen convened and launched the creation of an Islamic bank in Tanzania. Today, a varied group of Tanzanian businesses dedicated to the development of Amana Bank owns all of the bank.
Legacy
Established in 2011, Amana Bank had paid-up capital of TSh 27 billion (about US$12.6 million in 2016 money). In Tanzania, it is the first bank completely Sharia-compliant. Among well-known Tanzanian business leaders, the talks to create this bank started in October 2009.Geography

The qualified applicant will be in charge of the following obligations:
Offering clients high-quality services and controlling their expectations.
Control certain behaviours that might endanger the company overall.
Organise the hiring process from shortlist screening, placement, choosing, and appointment. Development of performance management policies and instruments working with the Head of Department.
Oversaw systems of accident prevention and control. Making sure every staff member carries suitable insurance.
Contact insurance companies to guarantee timely processing of claims. Keep sta records in both electronic and manual forms.
Update the HR and payroll systems in line with new staff, leaves, transfers, and staff exits. Prepare monthly HR flash reports covering all pertinent issues.
Participate in pay question campaigns.
Track pay and identity the bank’s stance among other companies in the market. At both an organisational, vocational, and personal level, note and document training and development requirements.
Create training plans and goals related to the accomplishment of particular corporate objectives. By means of interaction with pertinent stakeholders, determine areas of training and development priorities.
Help with HR budget preparation.
Help to create a succession strategy.
Get ready and organise the recruitment interviews.
Join the HR Audit.
Review establishment structures with you.
Complying with additional responsibilities directed or given by a superior.
Experience and Qualifications Needed:
Human Resource or Public Administration Bachelor’s Degree
Three years worth of pertinent experience
