Summary of Employment Goals
Monitoring the social conditions in the nation helps the social welfare officer to spot needs and evaluate current social policies, plans, and programs meant to satisfy such needs. Design, execution, and supervision of social welfare initiatives to provide target groups with necessary services constitute part of the responsibility.
Important responsibilities and duties:
Follow all policies, systems, and practices of Qatar Charity.
Help Qatar Charity to shape its social welfare and sponsorship strategies.
Try to fulfil the goals of Qatar Charity in social welfare and sponsorships.
Help to create yearly goals according to the association’s guiding policies.
Create welfare programs and social sponsorships and send them through the field office manager to headquarters for clearance.
Manage the execution of authorised projects to guarantee timely and within-budget fulfilment of objectives.
Track implementing partners to guarantee contract obligations are followed.
Work constantly with the Programs and Activities Officer to combine interventions, especially helping sponsored people to gain from humanitarian services and economic empowerment during seasonal programs or disaster relief.
Point out and record best practices in social welfare and sponsorships; then, suggest changes to headquarters.
Help to organise several types of support so that Qatar Charity’s social welfare initiatives may flourish.
Authorities and Powers:
Oversaw social welfare and sponsorship teams to guarantee efficient execution of given tasks.
Review the staff members in the section on sponsorship and social welfare.
Approval of sponsorship requests in compliance with Qatar Charity & Sponsorship policies before forwarding to headquarters
Continually monitor and update the database of the sponsored recipients.
Quarterly lists of sponsored recipients are audited and approved to guarantee correct and timely payment distribution.
Suggest courses of instruction to increase the implementing partners’ capacity.
Reviews and approves social supervisors’ reports.
Talk to implementing partners and find new partners fit for the accepted strategy and goals.

Sort and strengthen the social welfare and sponsorship section.
Look at fresh financial tools for the section.

Skills and Professional Certifications:
Educational Level:
Bachelor’s degree in social science or an allied discipline; master’s degree in the same field.
Expert Experience:
over seven years of expertise.
Additional Stories:
Social service delivery experience.
Knowledge in information management and report preparation linked to development.
Mastery with computers, particularly office programs.
Complete mastery of English and Arabic, the national official language.
