The key purpose of this role is to operate, maintain, repair, and optimise the plant and associated devices to ensure plant availability and product quality at minimum cost without sacrificing standards.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Safely operate plant. Identify and highlight unsafe work practices so that these may be corrected.
- Carry out work according to the work instructions and adhere to the appropriate AB InBev policies and procedures, carry out housekeeping tasks, and apply 5S principles.
- Record and Interpret process Critical Parameters in Logbooks, SIC, etc.
- Participate in maintenance planning meetings, contributing suggestions and clarifying work required.
- Assist fellow team members in the execution of their tasks during planned maintenance windows.
- Partake in cleaning, lubrication, and inspection by the maintenance.
- Where problems have been uncovered during routine maintenance, these must be resolved using the appropriate problem-solving techniques.
- Carry out condition monitoring activities where these have been allocated to the technician by the CM schedule.
- Partake in carrying out running repairs on plant and equipment.
- Where running repairs cannot be carried out, communicate this to the maintenance planner to ensure the work is planned into the next planned window.

- Ability to train, coach and mentor operation staff on ATO and 5’s principles

Minimum requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- 2 Years operating utilities plants or as an Artisan in a similar industry
- Basic computer skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
