The Executive Director of Mpwapwa District Council hereby invites all Tanzanian citizens with the required qualifications to apply to fill the vacant position after receiving their New Employment Permits with Ref. No. FA. 97/228/01/09 dated June 22, 2024, and with Ref. No. FA.170/360/01A/144 dated October 22, 2024 from the Permanent Secretary, Office of the President, Public Service Management and Good Governance.
JOB TITLE: MTENDAJI WA KIJIJI DARAJA LA III (POSITION 3)
1.2 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
Ø Must have completed Form Four Education and above.
Ø Must have completed a diploma/NTA/LEVEL 5 degree in one of the following fields: administration, law, social education, financial management, community development, or social sciences from any institution recognised by the government.
1.3 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Accounting Officer and Chief Executive of the Village Government.
Ø To oversee the protection and security of citizens and their property as a guardian of peace and administrator of good governance in the village
Ø Coordinate and supervise the planning and implementation of village development projects.
Ø Secretary of all Village Council Meetings and Committees
Ø Interpreting and managing policies, laws, and procedures
Ø Prepare reports on the implementation of work in his area and mobilise citizens in preparing and implementing a strategy to eliminate hunger and poverty and increase wealth production.
Ø Manage, collect, and store all village records and documents.
Ø Chairman of the meeting of experts present in the village
Ø Receive, listen to, and resolve complaints and disputes from citizens
Ø Supervise the draughting of Village By-Laws and
Ø Will be accountable to the Ward Executive
1.4 SALARY
Based on government salary standards, the salary level will be TGS B.

JOB TITLE: MWANDISHI MWENDESHA OFISI DARAJA LA III (POSITION 2)
2.1 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANTS
Ø Must have completed Form Four or Six Education.
Ø Must have completed the Diploma of Education and passed the Third Stage Examination
Ø Must have passed the English Kiswahili Shorthand test, 80 words per minute, and
Ø Must have received computer training from any government college and obtained certificates in Windows, Microsoft Office, the Internet, email, and Publisher programs.
2.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Printing letters, reports, and regular documents
Ø Helping to welcome guests and ask them about their problems and directing them to areas where they can be addressed.
Ø Assist in maintaining records of events, appointments, visitors, meeting dates, travel of his/her superior, and other scheduled work schedules to be carried out in the office where he/she works, and inform his/her superior in a timely manner.
Ø Assist in finding and providing his/her superior with files, documents, or anything needed in office work activities.
Ø To help convey the instructions of his/her supervisor to his/her subordinates and also to inform him/her about any information being given to him/her by those subordinates.
Ø Assist in receiving files, distributing them to officers in their respective areas, and collecting, maintaining, and returning them to the relevant areas.
Ø Carry out all tasks assigned to him by his supervisor.
2.3 SALARY
Based on government salary standards, the salary level will be TGS C.

JOB TITLE: ARCHIVE ASSISTANT GRADE II (POSITION 2)
3.1 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
Ø Must be a Form Four (IV) or Six (VI) graduate with a diploma (NTA level 6) in the field of Registry from a government-recognised institution, with computer skills.
3.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Searching for records/documents/files needed by readers
Ø Controlling the receipt and recording of records/documents
Ø Analysing, cataloguing, and organising records/documents into groups according to the relevant subject (classification and boxing) for office use
Ø Placing/Arranging Records/Documents in File Racks/Cabinets in Registry/Archive Room
Ø Keeping records (letters/documents, etc.) in files.
Ø Handling requests for records/documents from government institutions
3.3 SALARY
Based on government salary standards, the salary level will be TGS C.

JOB TITLE: CLASS II DRIVER (4 POSITIONS)
4.1 QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT
Ø Must have completed Form Four Education and above.
Ø Must have a Class E or C1 driving license that he/she has operated for at least one year without causing an accident.
Ø Must have attended a basic driving course provided by the Vocational Training Academy (VETA) or another institution recognised by the government.
Ø Applicants with a Class II Technical Test Certificate will be considered first.
4.2 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ø Inspecting the vehicle before and after the trip to determine the safety condition of the vehicle
Ø Sending employees to various locations on business trips
Ø Performing minor vehicle repairs
Ø Collecting and distributing various documents
Ø Filling in and maintaining all trip information in the trip log
Ø Car cleaning
Ø Perform other duties as directed by your supervisor.
4.3 SALARY
Based on government salary standards, the salary level will be TGS B.
5.0 GENERAL INFORMATION/TERMS
i) The applicant must be a Tanzanian citizen who is not more than 45 years of age and not less than 18 years of age.

viii) Job applicants who are already employed in entry-level positions in the public service should not apply and are required to adhere to the instructions contained in document No. CAC.45/257/01/D/140 dated 30 November 2010.
ix) All applications must be accompanied by professional certificates certified by a lawyer/attorney, which are Form Four certificates, Form Six certificates for those who have reached that level, and certificates of completion of various training courses based on the qualifications of the relevant job.
