Preparing financial reports and implementing internal controls in line with all regulations will help you, as a chief accountant, assist in maintaining a smooth operation within the finance department, by means of which your work will encompass major responsibilities such as:
Review supplier invoices, general ledger coding of expenses, income journal vouchers, and the general cashier’s report.
Check supplier payments using LPOs, invoices, etc.; also, check expenditure reimbursement using supporting records.
Review month-end payroll records together with supporting documentation.
Get general ledger reconciliation ready and follow up for contract renewals about expired
Prepare, post, and amend standard journal vouchers and adjustment diary voucher entries at the month end.
Review the general ledger at the end of each month and examine major deviations from the budget in expenses.
Make sure every accounting report and job deadline for other staff members satisfy you.
Possibilities
Knowledge, credentials, and experiences in education
At least two years of experience in a hotel environment and a degree in accounting or hotel management are requirements. While knowledge of Opera, Micros, FBM, and SUN systems is an advantage, excellent verbal and written English communication skills and computer literacy are absolutely essential.

Managing, receiving, and ordering food, beverage, & general store items into the store and efficiently controlling and managing the stock movements falls to you as a materials storekeeper. Your position will involve important duties, including:
Coordinate daily with the head storekeeper to guarantee all system-approved storeroom requests for timely item preparation and issuing.
Prepare all items asked according to the approved system storeroom requisition for quick pickup by the relevant department.
Verify that the policy procedures are followed for every received and issued stock item; also, make sure the departmental authorised staff get proper signatures for every storeroom request issue and post the system appropriately.
Verify reception in line with the approved order and correct arrangement of every stock item.
Make sure that storerooms, cold rooms, stocks, and equipment are kept clean, orderly, and functionally coherent.
For follow-up, check and note the expiration dates of food and beverages.
Work with the relevant employee in storeroom inventory counting whenever carried out.
Use ecologically friendly and safe operations to safeguard the health and safety of guests and staff as well as to help preserve the surroundings.
Follow the hotel policies on environmental, health, and safety.

Experience, Skills, and Education
Ideally, you should have a high school or college degree and have past work in a related field in the hotel business. You have to be good in English and have proven knowledge of the electrical equipment; hence, computer abilities will be a benefit.
