Successful application of creative agricultural financing products depends on the Agri-Climate Business Development Officer. While knowing the particular demands of smallholder farmers, this position entails improving and supervising customised financial products. The officer, a subject-matter expert and leader, will unite VFT teams, experts, and stakeholders to guarantee ongoing development and resilience in VisionFund Tanzania’s agricultural loan projects. The Agri-Climate Business Development Officer will thus affect knowledge leadership in the agricultural environment. Notifying Branch/Business Centre Manager Job Objective
The Loan Supervisor is in charge of general oversight of individual loan officers to provide the agreed-upon customer target and portfolio with quality within the reasonable and acceptable range. Monitoring the loan officer to operate within acceptable operation areas, verifying clients brought by the loan officer, supporting the loan officer with daily reports and other essentials to enable them to deliver their required targets, screening clients, and providing appropriate recommendations to the loan officer and branch/business centre manager. In line with VFT guidelines, the role holder also periodically reports loan officer performance to the branch manager and regional manager and advises suitable corrective action.
Duties
• Share personal accountability for embedding throughout VFT MFB the highest standards of ethics, including corporate and regulatory behaviour. This covers knowing and guaranteeing compliance with, in form and spirit, all relevant laws, rules, policies, and the Group Code of Conduct.

Qualifications and Experience
• A Bachelor of Science in Banking and Finance, Accounting, Microfinance, Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or another allied discipline.
• Experience in banking or financial institutions is a minimum of three years, one of which should be in a supervisory capacity.
Good knowledge of credit; good financial analytical abilities, particularly in relation to financial ratios to decide credit
