1. Positions: Project Superintendent

This could include drill and blast, load and haul, crusher feed, haul road maintenance, site civil works and all project operational delivery. The Project Superintendent is mainly accountable to the Operations of Site Services ensuring the safe and effective delivery of contract site services operations. The position entails responsibility for making sure site operations follow corporate policies, cost control, and fleet return maximisation.
Main Accountability:
- Oversaw, mentored, and developed operational leaders under team leadership and performance management so guaranteeing efficient team performance and alignment with corporate objectives.
- Working closely with site leadership and stakeholders, operational coordination—plan, distribute, and manage resources—to fulfil production, safety, and cost targets.

The supervisor of HME By means of thorough and integrated work plans to attain maintenance and service objectives, incorporation of elements including routine servicing, preventative maintenance, major and minor repairs and overhauls, fleet commissioning, special projects, and related factors helps to maximise the availability of mobile equipment.
Important responsibilities:
In general,
- Along with the Maintenance Superintendent, establish and uphold maintenance planning guidelines and procedures.
- Plan regularly on operations and maintenance.
- For every maintenance work group in the company, trainers and coaches help planners in the production of work packages and all other planning activities.
- Plan in line with visits by external service providers to sites for condition monitoring and any other outsourced maintenance tasks not able to be completed using on-site resources.
- Review spares holding policies for maintenance spares and consumables on a regular basis, then change the purchase and inventory control settings as necessary to lessen dependence on airfreight.
- Regular meetings with operations and maintenance staff allow you to analyse equipment performance, create cost- and performance-oriented remedial action and improvement strategies.
- Help the departmental budget to be developed, especially with reference to creating a Zero-based maintenance budget.

- Excellent understanding of all facets of a sizable and varied fleet of vehicles and equipment maintenance including the related trades and sub-trades.
- Capacity to create efficient, within-budget particular maintenance, major overhaul and repair projects as well as to coordinate the administration of initiatives to reduce interference with the fleet maintenance program.
Specific/Practical Skills:
- Previous knowledge in all spheres of mobile equipment maintenance.
