Established under the Cooperative Societies Act No. 6 of 2013, Tobacco Cooperative Joint Enterprises Limited (TCJE) is a joint enterprise aimed at enabling the operation of the industry and advancing economic interests of members, including tobacco marketing, agricultural supplies, and all issues connected with tobacco development of the affiliated secondary societies in line with cooperative principles and practice.

Agricultural Extension Officer – (1 Vacancy – Morogoro)
Nature and Objective
The successful applicant will answer to the operating manager. He/She would be in charge of giving our client extension services meant to provide the best benefits from their agricultural output.
Activities and Obligations
Give farmers on their fields extended education and assistance to get the best output.
Help farmers to make wise decisions, thereby raising agricultural output.
Guide farmers on cutting costs in farming tools and practices.
Help farmers follow accepted guidelines for crop output.
Teaching farmers crop quality control
Tell farmers to use proper methods of growing their crops.
Perform any other related tasks as directed by the manager sometimes.

From a reputable university or institution, a bachelor’s degree in agriculture or an allied field.
Strong degree of honesty
Two years or more of working experience in storekeeping and procurement at least.

Accountant (1 Vacancy – Morogoro)
Nature and context
The worthy applicant will answer to the Chief Accountant. Maintenance of the book of accounts, financial reporting, and regular transaction processing related to finance will fall to him/her. Along with developing controls to protect the financial resources of the company, he or she will help with the financial budgeting and reporting preparation as well as supplier payment.
Obligations and Responsibilities
gets petty cash vouchers ready for bank withdrawal of funds.
Gets bank correspondence and handles daily cash/bank transactions.
keeps the fixed assets register and reconciles periodically to the general ledger.
maintains all book records, including fixed asset-related documentation in the books.
When needed, physically checks assets from time to time to guarantee existence, values them,
Weekly reconciliation and maintenance of inventory subledgers at the entity level help to reconcile accounts payable and receivable accounts.
handles bookkeeping and accounting; creates management accounts, handles payment upload, maintains proper documentation.
prepares weekly, monthly, biannually, and annually cash flow.

Verify or follow up with union payments and administrative balance of supply and input.

Skills, Information, and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or an allied field.
Minimum of two years of pertinent experience at a respectable company.

Nature and Scale:
The qualified applicant will run the motor vehicle of the Enterprise. It would be his/her responsibility to guarantee correct handling of the motor vehicle of the company.
Rights and Obligations
Drive and maintain the motor vehicle of the Enterprise;
Keep control of the service schedule to guarantee that the car allocated to him or her is kept clean, serviced often, and maintained.
Examine the motor vehicle regularly; fix minor flaws and notify right away any found problem or defect.
Check the vehicle’s repairs done.
Keep a car logbook and precisely and punctually document all moves.
Verify that the car’s security is always under protection.
