Including annual report preparation and guaranteeing complete compliance, our accountant is in charge of supervising all facets of the financial reporting for the organisation. The accountant also offers management direction on how best to allocate their resources to maximise profitability. This could entail suggesting strategies to boost organisational activity or reduce expenses. Obligations
Oversees subordinates’ activities; assigns work and assesses performance.
Plans, guides, arranges, and schedules the work of numerous accounting departments or a specialised accounting function.
oversees and/or prepares reconciliation and financial reports.
prepares and/or oversees for management the specialised or extremely complicated reports, statements, surveys, or analyses.
maintains budget and financial records.
Suggests substitutes for management when accounting data points show patterns or circumstances calling for action outside of the scope of duties.
Keep records of all office fixed assets, office supplies, and equipment; make sure equipment and fixed assets are insured, correctly maintained, and damage and loss reports are recorded.
offers accounting system, process, and practice training both orally and in writing.
Create monthly financial reports and guarantee suitable coding and allocating policies.
Coordinate project audits covering financial report preparation and financial support document submission.
offers technical guidance and assistance to other staff members or lower-level accountants dealing with complicated problems, specific projects, or technological concerns.
Help project workers create project activity budgets and handle requests for budget changes.
investigates and assesses updated or novel accounting ideas and methods.
Ability and Education
Understanding of accounting ideas, theory, and techniques.
Understanding of supervising ideas, methods, and tools.
Focus on detail.
Understanding of computerised accounting systems and applications covering general software programs, personal computers, and mainframe systems Ideally SAGE 300 Advance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficient IT skills, great planning and organisation skills, strong numerical skills and attention to detail, upholding integrity, being a team player and leader, and having the capacity to work in a multicultural environment.
