Job Title: AP accountant

The accountant payable will be in charge of making timely payments to several stakeholders—including suppliers—within specified payment terms. Verify and record expenses to see if all invoices include their correct supporting documentation as well as reconciling bills.
Key Responsibilities
After suitable purchase orders and authorisations, all bills will be gathered and handled for payment.
To guarantee payment has been approved before completing the payment order and preparing the payment list as planned.
Timely down payment application received from the supplier chain.
Honour daily KPI (Volume of Invoices Processed, Number of Questions Answered).
Make sure every allotted invoice is recorded before the cut-off date for month ends.
Before booking the invoices into the system, make sure appropriate account allocation is shown on the invoices to help to minimise misbooking of company running and capital expenses.
Make sure that every supplier account reconciliation takes place once a month.
keeping a good filing and reference system to help finance department management of affairs.
Examine long overdue invoices in the ledger and counsel the department head on which to give clearance top priority.
Prepare down payment age studies and send them to the department director for evaluation and action.
Clearly defining the provider on the system will help to maintain their documentation and information.
Monthly reconciliation in a sister firm

Follow up and settle the advance payment for a supplier.
Get ready with the supplier ageing and other AP reports.
Reviews once a month for supplier balances
Work on other projects as advised by management.

Education and Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field, finance, commerce, or accounting.
