The selected applicant will be reporting straight to the Preventive Maintenance Manager from this full-time, permanent post. The position is a fascinating chance to employ modern technologies and technical techniques to sustain and improve the operations of the plant within a vibrant and changing sector.

Monitoring and guaranteeing the correct operation of several mechanical equipment within the cement factory will fall to the maintenance inspector. Daily checks will be carried out by the inspector, who will also find areas needing work and guarantee timely and effective application of preventative maintenance. This is a crucial part to enable the business to keep its high standards of safety, efficiency, and quality.

Important obligations: routes of creation and compliance for inspections;

Create and put into use efficient inspection paths for plant machinery to guarantee that every machine is routinely checked according to the checklist.
Verify route compliance; make required corrections to increase effectiveness and handle any areas of issue.
Make sure that all team members have the tools they need to conduct inspections used effectively.
Doing first-level inspections—walk-through inspections—by:

Walk-by inspections of every piece of equipment on the designated path help to monitor machinery condition and spot any possible problems.

Second-Level Inspections: Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM)

Monitoring Vibration and Data Gathering:

Track vibration levels and create thorough data on equipment condition using specialist tools and software.
Creating Inspection Reports and Recording:

Based on daily plant visits, create thorough inspection reports covering equipment condition, maintenance activity performed, and any required corrective action documentation.
Keep accurate and current records of inspections to guarantee that all reports are submitted and conveniently available for next use.
Qualifications:
Education: A recognised institution’s mechanical engineering diploma.
Experience: Minimum three years of employment in maintenance or inspection capacities. Experience in the extractive or cement-producing sectors is quite sought after. Added benefits will be knowledge of infrared thermography and vibration analysis.
One other benefit will be certificates in CAT 1 vibration analysis and infrared thermography level 1.
Technical Proficiency:
SKF Micrology & Infrared Flir Programming: strong knowledge and expertise with infrared thermography techniques and vibration analysis programs.
Knowing AutoCAD will help one develop and modify inspection paths and equipment setups.
Essential is computer literacy—that is, mastery of the Excel, Word, and PowerPoint versions of the Microsoft Office Suite. Knowing Gantt chart tools for tracking and project planning helps greatly.
Strong written and vocal communication abilities will help one to properly record results, engage with team members, and notify management. Superior organising abilities to effectively handle follow-ups, reports, and inspection management.
The capacity to work closely with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams to accomplish shared objectives defines teamwork.
