JOB TITLE: Manager, Employee Relations and Organizational Development
To play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership, guidance, and a support function to the Country Head of People and Culture and teams in the realm of Employee Relations (ER). Responsible for overseeing the efficient management of ER matters, ensuring compliance with labour legislation and basic conditions of employment and union-related requirements. To drive the success of the ER unit by ensuring the seamless execution of employee relation processes, procedures, functions, etc. To enable a positive workforce experience by solutioning to address requirements. To partner with relevant stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver data-driven insights pertinent to the organisational effectiveness for decision-making. To understand strategy and shifts in leadership practice, implement end-to-end solutions, prioritise, and ensure alignment of initiatives implemented to address needs.

5-7 years
Demonstrate ER experience at the management level in the handling of grievances, disciplinary matters, and the draughting and reviewing of employment contracts and collective agreements. A further qualification in conciliation and arbitration will be an added advantage. Handle negotiations and consultations in a unionised environment. Experience in a multinational environment covering at least two (2) African countries will be an added advantage.
