Overview
Graphics Designer & Communications Officer
Plan International
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Independent development and humanitarian group Plan International advocates girls’ rights and equality. Although we think every child has great power and potential, poverty, violence, isolation, and discrimination often stifle this. And the most affected are girls.
Working with children, young people, supporters, and partners, we aim for a fair society by addressing the underlying causes of the difficulties girls and underprivileged children encounter. From birth until they are adults, we uphold children’s rights; we also help them to be ready for and able to handle crises and hardships. Using our network, expertise, and knowledge, we influence improvements in practice and policy both locally, nationally, and internationally.
For more than 85 years, we have united fellow committed optimists to change the lives of every child in more than 80 nations.
