In charge of obtaining and honing talents in line with the corporate goals and the talent goals, including the youth portfolio. implements ideas suited for the future for the talent and succession flow.
Key responsibilities and decision-owning learning and development
Leveraging local content and global academy materials, a) follows the learning plan for functional development based on annual capability analysis for business units; b) offers input into the overall L&D learning plan.
• Promotes use of Vodacom e-learning system.
• Working with Supply Chain, sources, or designs solutions that fill in for gaps not satisfied by the e-learning platform
• Increases knowledge and awareness of every L&D tool available.
Youth:
• Through graduate programs, internships, and other projects as required, supports young people entering the technological sector.
• In line with the worldwide graduate development framework, incorporate pertinent recruitment strategies so as to ensure that it contributes to the pool of talent.
Coordination of Vodacom CodeLikeAGirl Program Resourcing
• Motives policy-based deployment of fresh background checks for new employees.
• Onboards fresh hires to help them to blend in completely.
Diversity and Inclusion
• Drives Vodacom’s diversity and inclusion strategy and projects, hence promoting an inclusive culture.
Important performance benchmarks:
• Fourth week of new employee onboarding: 100% implementation of new employee background security checks.
• Coordinating induction programs inside the first four weeks of new employee onboarding.
• Average learning hours for each employee in line with yearly goals
• 100% execution of the approved yearly training program.
· Teach girls in line with CodeLikeAGirl yearly goals.
Knowledge and experience as core competencies
• Minimum five years of experience growing others.
• Applied knowledge of change management or organisational development.
• Excellent interpersonal qualities and communication ability.
• Presentational techniques.
• Skills of planning and organising.
Extremely analytical and highly detail-orientated.
• Skills in solving problems.
Must possess technical or professional credentials:
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in business, education, organisational development, industrial or organisational psychology, or an allied discipline.
