Sales and Marketing Officer at Ujenzi Smart – January 2025

Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive sales and marketing officer with a strong background in the construction industry to drive our sales efforts and expand our market presence.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and understand customer needs in the construction sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the construction industry, including builders, developers, contractors, and suppliers.
• Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to potential clients.
• Collaborate with the technical team to tailor solutions to client requirements.
• Track sales metrics, prepare reports, and adjust strategies based on performance data.
• Manage social media and digital marketing campaigns to enhance brand visibility.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in sales or marketing within the construction industry.
• Proven track record in sales growth and business development.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of the construction market dynamics in Tanzania.
• Familiarity with modern marketing tools, CRM software, and digital marketing platforms.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be proactive, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
