JOB TITLE: Sales Manager
ABOUT US
Oman Air (Arabic: الطيران العماني) is the flag carrier of Oman.[3] Based at Muscat International Airport in Muscat, it operates domestic and international passenger services, as well as regional air taxi and charter flights.
Work type: full-time
Role ObjectiveFor allocated territory, activate revenue and cost of sale strategies in line with the regional manager.
To be the ambassador of the Oman Air brand outside of all trade, corporate, and governmental entities in the designated area.
Budgeting for cost of sales income and revenue delivery for the territory assigned
Lead and activate proposed strategies for supplementary revenue projects for the designated area.
To keep or grow market share on revenue and cultural change of distribution model lowering any impact to revenue for Oman Air in territory.
Obligations and Responsibilities
Zone of accountability
Strategic
Use the revenue/cost of sale road map as directed by the regional manager in keeping with the state of the market for the designated area.
Deliver for the designated territory using the allocated budget and cost of sale measures.
Working with marketing, find territory market prospects to develop a viable marketing plan in line with strategic goals set by the regional manager.
Examine and comment on competition strategies and territory market conditions.
Implement NDCs for Drive Oman Air throughout the territory across all channels.
Promote and start direct sales offers to follow a direct distribution plan (Web/NDC/Call Centre/Mobile).
Support building and preserving ties inside territory between important customers and partners.
Lead in designated area related to trade market communication.
Start little modifications to create auxiliary income sources for the territory.
Arranging
Plan, arrange, and supervise sales calls to government agencies and corporate houses of travel agents.
Territory sales plan development follows the direct distribution roadmap to attain assigned budget responsibility.
Give regional sales managers consistent market comments on pricing, distribution, and methods to raise performance and efficiency.
Help local authorities and businesses with trading standards facilitation.
Leading to assist the regional sales manager on demand as his deputy.
Guide, coach, and mentor the sales team to reach sales targets and, if necessary, promote development.
Performance Enhancement ManagementManage the reward program for travel agencies within the territory and offer any suggestions for enhancements.
Track BSP in the allocated area under company control to implement any action.

Minimum Education, Certificates, and Skills
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in aviation management, Travel & Tourism combined with six years of relevant job experience managing airline sales.
OR diploma in a comparable field after eight years of suitable job experience handling aviation sector sales.
