To accompany our Mwanza Branch, we are looking for a professional yet pleasant Teller. Representing our bank as a Teller, you will provide first-rate client service and precisely handle financial transactions. For those who appreciate working in a hectic workplace and have a passion for assisting consumers with their banking needs—who are detail-oriented—this position is perfect.
Main Responsibilities and Duties
- Handle loan payments, withdrawals, and deposits among other financial processes.
- Check consumer names and uphold account secrecy.
- Maintaining precise records of every transaction, balance cash drawers
- Show consumers bank goods and services both cross-selling and promoting.
- Attend to consumer questions and promptly address problems.
- Follow all bank policies, practices, and legal guidelines.
- Work with others to guarantee flawless operations and first-rate customer experience.
- As needed, help with special projects and administrative chores.
Achievements
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce, finance, or something else entirely.
- Good arithmetic and solid cash handling
- Mastery of banking software and computer systems
- First-rate customer service and clear communication techniques
- Capacity to work well under pressure and problem-solving skills Previous banking or customer service experience preferable
- Knowing banking products and services is a plus.
- Capacity to labour according to demand, including weekends and holidays when mandated
- Preferred fluency in English and Swahili
