Overview
Established especially to help in staff recruitment to the Public Service, the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRs) is a government organ with a status of independent Department. Public Service Act No. 8 0f 2002 established the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat; Act No. 18 of 2007, section 29(1), modified the Public Service Act. TAMISEMI
PSRS is basically essential in making sure that qualified and competent people staff the Tanzanian public service.
Ministries, departments, and agencies—national-level entities in charge of policy development and service execution inside particular sectors—such as health, education—are known as MDAs.
Operating at both regional and local levels, LGAs (Local Government Authorities) concentrate on local government, resource management, and service delivery catered to community need.
Work between MDAs and LGAs is absolutely vital. While LGAs carry out ground-based initiatives assuring efficient governance and service, MDAs offer policy direction and support.
